Water Supply and Sewerage Planning Elements

This book aims to be, first of all, an aid to the students / three who attend the undergraduate courses: "Water Supply - Sewerage" and "Water Supply and Sewerage Projects", which are taught in the Departments of Civil Engineering of the University of Patras and the University of Pelos. . It is structured in twelve chapters, covering basic issues of hydraulic engineering, principles of analysis and design of water supply and sewerage systems based on the current regulations, issues of hydraulic solution and dimensioning of network sections and their implementation through detailed examples, as well as more specific issues of design and construction of sections of water supply and sewerage networks. In addition, more specific design issues of practical value are presented, in order to cover the needs of Engineers who deal with the analysis, design, construction, or supervision of water supply and sewerage projects. The book concludes with an extensive list of comprehensive comprehension questions, in order to familiarize the reader with the listed concepts and design principles.
